WHAT THE HELL DO I EAT?

If this isa question tat you ask yourself, you are not alone! Nutrition information has become more confusing as time goes on…

. If you gp onto the internet, you are bombarded with tons and tons of advertisements, promotion and endless s scare tactics like: Don’t eat these 3 foods, or else! Or else what?

Given all the confusing and contradictory information, How does one figure out what to eat for dinner that will be healthy…..

Let me first introduce the concept of BIOINDIVIDUALITY! This is the idea that each person has their own unique biological, genetic and metabolic needs..

Alllow me to translate this: we each have different NUTRITIONAL and DIETARY needs. Whaat I may need to eat t to maintain my health may not be what you meed!

This speaks to why well established “healthy” diets will most likely not work for everyone………

When I work with folks individuality to address diet concerns, I ask them to MONITOR THEIR BODY RESPONSES TO FOOD. Thhis means PAYING ATTENTION TO HOW FOOD MAKES YOU FEEEL! Physically and emotionally….

Not everyone will have the same response to rhetoric same food. BIOINDIVIDUALITY.

As one learns to monitor their body responses, the person begins to identify what foods feel good, , and which foods do not. THIS INFORMATION IS INVALUABLE!

For example, too much sugar intake can lead to feelings of bloating for some folks…My rule of thumb is: If you have the same response to a flood 3 times that you eat it; it is not your imagination, it is how thus food effects your individual system!

It is enormously helpful; to know which foods help you to feel good, so that better choices can be made. This information will help yiiu to decide WHAT THE HELL DO U EAT?

This is a FOREVER LEARNING PROCESS; one that will probably change over time as our nutritional and dietary needs change over time!
